Deforest-action.
Action.
Every May the Monsanto march takes place. Everywhere, crowds people gather around with pins, flags, banners, shirts and posters with phrases such as, "Know what they grow, say no to GMO!", or "Monsanto's worst enemy is an informed public."
All over the country, these protesters walk around the city repeating these phrases, holding up banners and spreading awareness of what really is inside the food you eat. GMO's (genetically modified) hit the market around 20 years ago, they met massive resistance, thought there protests 3 years ago, on May 25th.
Monsanto is a multinational agricultural biotechnology corporation based in the United States. It is the largest producer of genetically engineered (GE) seeds on the planet, accounting for over 90% of the GE seeds planted globally in 2003.

Monsanto generates massive greenhouse gas pollution (CO2, Methane, Nitrous Oxide) and Global Warming; While they promote false solutions such as industrial biofuels, so-called drought-resistant crops, and genetically engineered trees.
On May 21, 2016 I attended the Monsanto march. Monsanto has caused deforestation because its poisoned crops grow on soil where trees once stood.
